XM-8K202, 2x2 8K HDMI 2.1 Matrix Switch, allows users to switch between 2 HDMI 2.1 sources and then delivers the selected video stream to 2 HDMI 2.1 output devices. The ¡§Auto-switching / input auto detecting¡¨ function always routes the last connecting stream (as first priority) to the output. User can select the desired input source(s) via the serial control or push buttons located on the switch.
EDID auto learning and EDID copy functions allow the 2x2 HDMI 2.1 Matrix Switch either to read the necessary EDID information from the unit itself or to copy EDID from the EDID compliant monitor, ensuring that every video source is displayed at the optimal resolution and format without any compatibility issue.
2x2 8K HDMI 2.1 Matrix Switch, XM-8K202 provides 2xHDMI and 3.5mm stereo audio inputs which bring in multiple audio feeds. Audio insert from a 3.5-mm source to an HDMI signal allows user to diversely incorporate the audio signals for more informative contents. HDMI 2.1 audio break out function extracts the audio signals from the HDMI 2.1 signal and then duplicate the audio stream to the 3.5mm output port beneficial in A/V postproduction, A/V receiver or subwoofer integration, conference call, meeting room, and show room applications.
2x2 8K HDMI 2.1 Matrix Switch, XM-8K202 supports most HDMI 2.1 features, including maximum resolution up to 8K60Hz, DSC compression, high refresh rate, ALLM, etc. HDCP management function is also provided to ensure the proper HDCP version. EDID management function may be applied to optimize the compatibility toward different displays. High refresh rate and ALLM support ensures that gamers can get a good gaming experience in a low-latency environment. Audio Extract function facilitates A/V amplifier application or integration with subwoofer/sound bar.
