A CCFL light source is used to lure insect pest by their nature of phototaxis phenomenon. A fan is employed to generate the wind pressure to inhale the insect pest into wire-netting. This special designed trap mechanism prevents the insect pests from flying away after they enter wire-netting. Can use control module, it is designed to control the time interval of lighting and fan power for saving electric energy consumption. Since the CCFL does not use the thermal electron emission method to excite ultraviolet light, the advantage is that it can be miniaturized (with a smaller diameter) and a longer life lamp than ordinary lamps which can be applied to field pest control at night.
