Reducing the loss of life and property by using the most effective disaster rescue method is the government¡¦s most important disaster prevention and rescue policy. The key to this is implementation of training. However, the problem faced by government agencies with regard disaster rescue training are:
(1)No way of designing training methods to address new disaster situations
(2)Disaster, tunnel search and special rescue training has to be centralized and is subject to limitations of space and time.
(3)Disaster prevention education is subject to spatial and time restrictions. It can¡¦t provide each person with a complete experience.
To realize the objective of smart disaster risk reduction, Hsinchu Fire Department has applied VR, MR and AI to develop a high-tech training system to overcome the aforementioned difficulties and increase disaster rescue efficiency.
